Hi, I’m Brian Kostewicz, Co-Founder and Creative Director at Afew Studio.  

For me, it all began with Legos. Play as a child had taught me that I would always want to be an architect or interior designer and never anything else. It’s said that every artist has their medium, and mine has always been defining physical space in all of it’s layers to affect what emotion or action it elicits from those that experience it.

Today, having previously founded and lead other creative outfits the likes of Brink and Salthaus, while also wrapping a simultaneous 15-year stint in the healthcare technology space making revenue, branding, and market impacts to notable companies including Talkspace and Calm, I founded Afew Studio to focus solely on my talent of creating experiential design that yields top-tier (emotional and, thus, dollar) impact in real estate. 

Prior to tech and founding my own studios, I followed an earlier career path contributing creatively at the highest echelons to eponymous brands the likes of Armani, Hollister, American Eagle, honing my skills in visual merchandising, trend concept, and store experiential design, all of which contribute today to my interpretation of trend, style and human emotion as a driver of choice and, thus, connection to a space’s emotive stamp — how it makes us feel. I found that for me, creating spaces in an intentional way brought people together to share common goals, create incredible moments, and infused a space with high frequency energy that can be felt. This became Intentional Design for Intentional Living, and is sacred to what we do here at Afew. 

When I’m not talking about good design, which is rare, we’ll most likely bond over topics the likes of Southern California beach walks with my toddler, what it’s like co-founding multiple businesses with the love of my life, the best powder ski runs in the Mountain West this season, or oysters and boating in Seattle, in no particular order. 

Hi, I’m Jennifer — A California native who fell in love with interior design because of the way a space can make you feel, and Afew Studio allows me to see the results of this concept every day with our clients and I couldn’t be happier.

When I’m not leading our team’s strategy to exceed expectations for our valued private clients, you’ll find me collaborating with inspirational leaders in the healing space for our sister company, The Healing Home, bringing healing lifestyle opportunities to everyday living, as well as intentionally-designed, healing-focused spaces for sacred spaces and homes.

After surrounding myself with healing design in my own home, I felt a deep shift in the energy of my space which beautifully impacted the way I use every room and every item to support me on my healing journey which ultimately changed my health from anxious to intentional, trading late nights for peaceful mornings and long work hours into soulful renewing time spent on what has become my sacred calling. Ultimately, my dream is to be able to offer this to you.

After a decade of having founded, grown and sold, a company in the beauty industry, I moved into a new phase of my life still focused on bringing beauty into the world but instead of 3-hour appointments with a specific demographic, I wanted my work to have a more universal theme and reach, one from deep within my heart— that offering is now with Afew Studio and The Healing Home.

My greatest wish is to co-create a truly authentic space that you’ll enjoy for years to come— from my healing home to yours.

I first met Jennifer and Brian as a vendor working on one of their residential renovations in Utah and now, years later, we are working together in this incredible industry of design and real estate.

My passion is connecting people with opportunities and shared visions for the future. This is why I love to meet with developers and builders to imagine their very own development projects and learn how Afew Studio can maximize their real estate investment opportunities. You’ll also see me throughout the process overseeing project management for large developments and luxury builds.

Since moving to Southern California I really feel life has become the dream I’ve always had to grow and enjoy everyday to the fullest!
